My academic interests are born of my interests outside of law -- art, language & expression, history & public memory.  I study the points of intersection between those seemingly disparate worlds.  Where do law & art clash?  How can law accommodate the complexity of the expression of ideas & the act of remembering?

I am an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York - Purchase College.

I earned a BA from Yale University, Magna Cum Laude, and a JD from New York University School of Law.
